We are closing our doors this Black Friday for the fifth time and deciding to #OptOutside. Spending time outdoors with family and friends this Black Friday is more important for us at Rocktown Adventures – the stores are not going anywhere. Stroll on State & Small Business Saturday
Stroll on State is a FREE community event in downtown Rockford that features a tree lighting, parade, fireworks, horse & wagon rides, visits with Santa and many more outdoor attractions! This event is about experiencing the awe and wonder of what a community can do together. It is a great kickoff to the Holiday Season, where festivities start at 8am with the Dasher Dash 5k. The parade and other attractions will follow, from 2-9pm.
All downtown businesses roll out the red carpet for our community to enjoy downtown and their Stroll on State experience. In addition to special holiday deals, Rocktown Adventures will have a bonfire with S'mores and hot chocolate. As an added bonus, our store is a GREAT location to view the fireworks while also giving yourself some elbowroom!
Stroll on State also coincides with #SmallBusinessSaturday. Show your support for the downtown business community by attending Stroll and seeing for yourself what the downtown business community has to offer. There are plenty of hidden gems (and great holiday deals) waiting to be discovered by you! Our Stroll on State Special is 20% off ALL soft goods.
